EQUIP TO LEAD. ENCOURAGE TO WORSHIP.
EQUIP - I believe that we are called to build into others. No one has it all figured out on their own. It’s our responsibility to pass on what God has given to us. Mentorship is not a one way street. It’s powerful. It’s community. It’s what God uses. As iron sharpens iron, one person is designed to sharpen another (Proverbs 27:17).
ENCOURAGE - As we equip one another for good works, God is at work. God is also at work when we encourage others to worship Him. He does the work we can’t do on our own. Engagement is the work of the Holy Spirit. Our job is to use everything we have at our disposal to point people to Jesus to the best of our ability.
In other words, if God is going to be able to use us to our potential, we better make sure we are equipped to do His work in such a way that others will be encouraged to see Him.

I had no idea what I was doing when I was directing this choir, but I learned a lot
No more robes & instruments out of the orchestra pit and onto the platform. We bought a drum enclosure and added lights. I got in trouble for ALL of these changes.
